The apps
Each app has its own policy, the one the app stores link to:
- Brothers' Keeper privacy policy. The game collects nothing.
This website
northbridgelandmark.com has no accounts, no analytics, no ads and no cookies. Nothing tracks you from page to page.
The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare handles the technical details of each request, such as your IP address, in order to deliver the page. The fonts come from Google Fonts, so your browser asks Google for them.
What stays in your browser
Some pages save things in your browser's own storage, on your device, so they're still there next time. None of it is sent to me:
- light or dark mode;
- game progress and settings: Snake's best score, Wordell, Pocket Chance and the Pack Opener;
- in the Workbench: IDE drafts, the board you picked for the starters, and your Wi-Fi network's name (never its password);
- in the Library: which boxes you left open or closed, and whether the comic reader fits the whole page on screen.
Clearing this site's data in your browser removes all of it.
The Workbench and your boards
Flashing and the IDE talk to your board straight from your browser, over USB (Web Serial) or the Pico's drive. Your code, your files and anything you type for a board go only to the board, never to this site's server.
Firmware and packages come from their publishers: micropython.org, circuitpython.org and GitHub. Firmware downloads pass through this site's server, which fetches the file and hands it straight to your browser. The site's own code keeps no log of those requests.
Other services some pages use
- The Pack Opener gets card data and images from Scryfall.
- Package and starter files load from GitHub.
